Mor Karbasi is an Israeli singer who sings mainly in the extinct dialect of Ladino, formed in the Middle Ages from the merging of Castilian, Jewish, Arabic, and Turkish. She has her own unique style that combines the tragedy of Spanish romance, the freedom of jazz improvisation, the sweetness of Arab melodies, and the melancholy of Sephardic songs. She has released 4 solo albums, the latest of which is 'Ojos De Novia' (2016).
